Muddy Creek, a tributary to the Sun River near Great Falls, Montana has long been a degraded stream due to excess suspended sediment, high temperatures, and nutrient input. Sun River Watershed Group contracted a team of river restoration engineers, geomorphologists, and GIS analysts to design a master plan for restoration and potential projects. MT Map Works was brought on for baseline UAS mapping and video/photo capture of existing conditions to help with project planning and pre-construction assessments.
